Cultus wines
Sunrise
The CULTUS Sunrise wines are bottled the year after harvest and experience a short or cold maceration in stainless steel tanks. The wines are lying on the yeast with active mixing of the sediments (batonnage). Till bottling no sulphites are used. All the wines go through malolactic fermentation and are not filtered. These wines are designed to enjoy night and day and are a perfect match for food.
CULTUS Malvasia
It is a round, harmonious wine with dominant fruit aromas of apple, peach, and apricot as well as hints of acacia blossom and almonds. With medium levels of acidity and a deliciously fruity palate. The wine is an ideal match for summer dishes such as grilled fish fillets, oysters, risottos, and pasta.
CULTUS Zelen
Zelen is an indigenous wine variety and the name means »Green«. Aroma of the wine reminds us of Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and lavender with a hint of fruity peach. Its full and noble body perfectly combines freshness and tenderness. The wine goes well with light Mediterranean dishes, potato dishes, roasted vegetables, pumpkin soup, pasta dishes and fish and seafood dishes.
CULTUS Welschriesling
The aroma has citrus fruits, gooseberries, and yellow apples, with blooming lindens in the background. Flavours include honeydew melon and pear. The taste is medium full and extractive with a lasting finish. It goes really well with fish, cold cuts, white meat and medium cheese.
CULTUS Pet Nat
The production of Pet Nat is based on a single fermentation that starts directly with sweet must. The wine that is already fermenting is bottled, and the fermentation process continues in the bottle until the rest of the sugar in the young wine is completely consumed. The result is a dry Pet Nat with a brut nature sweetness level. This process produces the carbon dioxide that provides the excess pressure needed for the characteristic fizzing and foaming. To the Pet Nat no sulfide was added.The result is softly fizzy and hazy with yeast particles. The Pet Nat has a hint of black forest fruits, citrus and grapefruit and is very dry in taste. It's a perfect summer drink, nice refreshing and goes well as an aperitif.
Sunset
The CULTUS Sunset wines represent mature wines, macerated 5-14 days. The aging lasts for two to three years in selected oak barrels. The wines are lying on the yeast and going through one year of active batonnage in the cellar. All the wines go through malolactic fermentation. Till bottling no sulfites are used. The wines are unfiltered. They combine tastefulness, delicacy and delightfulness for every moment in time.
CULTUS Josef Estate 1683
The wine is mature with tender fruits, and herbaceous finish in addition to fresh pineapple and pear notes. It also offers the ripeness of exotic fruits with a taste of vanilla, coconut and delicate woody notes. The wine pairs well with vegetarian food, roasted vegetables, smoked fish, chicken dishes and spicy food.
CULTUS Red
The top notes are black cherry and forest fruits, The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and black currant. The pleasing acidity contributes to its elegance, whereas roundness the charming side of Merlot, as well as the appreciable astringency of tannins in its typical body. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and good roundness and is balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, and good tannins. It goes very well with red meat, game, lamb and mature cheese or pasta
CULTUS Pinot Blanc
The wine is wonderfully elegant, complex and yet very harmonious in itself. It begins with a very inviting aroma of dried fruits, caramel and a little vanilla. The wine taste creamy and fruity with lots of peach and nectarine along with a hazelnut note. It has a longlasting and pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the back of the mouth. The wine pairs well with vegetarian, fish, chicken and pasta dishes and spicy food.
Eclipse
The CULTUS Eclipse stands for expressing some ideas to the wine. The wines are created from experimental inspirations and passionate mindfulness.

The grapes for TBA are individually picked among shrivelled with noble rot, often to the point of appearing like a raisin. The shrivelling might cause the content to become concentrated, very sweet and have an intensely rich flavour, frequently with a lot of caramel and honey bouquet, stone fruit notes such as apricot, and distinctive aroma of the noble rot. Of the wine Eclipse only few bottles are left for aging and will be opened just for special occasions.
